It had been three months since the demise of Lilith and the unknown curse that was unleashed upon her true death. Lucifer and the trinity which consisted of Rori, Ryder and Nick had done everything that they could to end it. Without any of the other witches help, apart from reaching out to those outside of Pandora, it seemed like they were never going to get an answer for what Lilith put upon them.
Over the time, and going around Pandora, it was definitely clear to see that only the celestial beings had been saved from whatever it was that had crippled the rest of the town. So the only ones who could safely work on it was Lucifer, Aurora, Ryder, Nick and James, and after three months of doing so, they were tearing their hair out. There appeared to be nothing in the main grimoire or any of the magical books about curing a curse caused by the mother of demons. Of course it didn't help that they didn't even know what the curse was.
Nothing in any description told of people going into comas with blood coming from their nose and ears. The hospital in Pandora was packed with everybody and of course even the medical staff were unable to help, as they too had been smitten, apart from the one or two who just happened to be celestial and immune also. Oh, and one other person that hadn't been touched by it, Tiffany, the new detective. With her being a demi-god, she too was immune to it. However, she felt that she wasn't of any use, as she didn't have any witch abilities. She was a god, but even then, not as powerful as a full god, she was just a half one, also half human.
Still, Lucifer was quite happy that she had been saved from it. He had a spark with her from the day they had met, and though nothing much had come of it so far, they had been on a few dates for coffee and they had both enjoyed it, or at least, he had, he couldn't speak for the detective. However, the fact she had gone out with him several times did seem to tell him that maybe she did like him as much as he liked her. They both seemed to have a natural immediate attraction to each other. The slight upside to it all, was no John to tell him what he should and shouldn't be doing, oh and the fact that there was no crime happening and no demons causing mischief. Maybe that wasn't a complete upside, it was too quiet for Lucifer, he had nobody to punish and that made him very bored and a little bit sad.
Clapping his hands together as he and James shared a coffee in the local cafe, he spoke finally, “So, we're not really getting anywhere with this. Nobody thus far has magically recovered and the kids haven't been able to come up with any sort of cure. Where do we go from here?” James shrugged and shook his head, looking at him with an eyebrow risen, “I'm only half fae and a portion celestial, you tell me? You're the angel, if anybody should know where we go from here, I'd have thought it was you.” Luci knew that James had a bit of a point, but he was lost. If he had any idea what the curse was, he could have helped, but he didn't. The only person that might be able to help and curse or no curse he was in no hurry to contact him, and that was dear old dad. “Usually I'd say that I could help, but this is new to me. If it hadn't been for the fact that I actually killed her, she could have helped, but yeah.” He sighed and looked down, and then put his head into his hands as he rubbed at his temples with his fingertips. This was a bloody mess.
James, even after all this time, was still getting used to being what he was, said tentatively, “What about, well, you know, god? Surely he can help. I mean people don't pray to him for nothing sure?” Luci rolled his eyes and then laughed lightly. “Bloody hell James, do you know nothing? God, he's not al he's cracked up to be is dear old dad. Oh no, he likes to see people suffering. He gets these little hang ups every now and then. When he sees the humans misbehaving, he decides to teach them a lesson.” James was quite shocked to hear that, even though he hadn't been one for believing in god and all that anyway, now his eyes had been truly opened since arriving in Pandora. “So, you're saying that it's quite possible that he created this?” Luci sighed and shook his head, “No, Lilith bloody created this, what I'm saying is don't expect him to help get us out of it. He's probably up there laughing his backside off that I am having to deal with this mess. Well thank you father.” He looked up as he said the final sentence.
Surely if god knew that they were suffering he'd do something, if not, then he was right with his ideas on god and all that crap in the first place. “Would he even know?” James asked, and Luci looked up and shrugged. “No idea, your guess is as good as mine. Three months later I'd like to think that no, he doesn't know or he really is the bastard I knew him to be all along.” Right then, Rori, Ryder and Nick joined the both of them. They took a table to the left of Luci and James. Rori was the one to talk, “Still nothing. We've searched everything now. Every chest, every book case, nothing that says anything about a curse that might be unleashed by Lilith. Nothing. Of course we could contact the Campbell Coven...” Nick then finished the sentence, “...but then they would get struck with the curse also as none of them as far as we're aware are celestial.” Then Ryder added, “But of course we don't know if Tabby's father is an angel or part angel. Mother never spoke of him being anything more than human, but what if he's not? What if he is something and its just not manifested yet. After all, you said that you and Rori's powers never came to anything until you arrived in Pandora, right?” Rori nodded and smiled a little. “That's right, but then, if she is celestial, and she's also a Campbell, doesn't that mean that she could also be a part of the Celestial Trinity?” She did sort of laugh, as she knew how stupid that sounded, as trinity meant three and with Tabby they would be four.
However, Luci raised his eyebrow and put his hands together, “You know, that is a possibility and if she is, then yes, she would be, you wouldn't be a Trinity then, you'd be a Quaternity and we've never had that before, but imagine, how much stronger you would all be.” James then snapped his fingers, “Focus, we have no idea about Tabby, so no point in going over that until we know more. What are we going to do about this curse.” Luci was brought back to the conversation with a bit of a bump. “Yes, well, we've exhausted everything, apart from a miracle, I have no bloody clue, no clue at all.” And that for Lucifer was a first, and if it weren't for the fact that he had already killed Lilith, he would kill her for doing this to his town.
**** Elsewhere in Pandora ****
While they were having their talk that once more was going nowhere with no real answers, there was a bright light shooting across the farthest part of Pandora and two bright orbs fell from the sky and onto the ground. The protective pods fell away and two alien forms were standing there, they held hands and then nodded. Together they walked to the hospital and found two women that they liked the look of and they joined with them. With their alien powers, they woke the coma girls, they were Felicity Ortecho and Karolina Bloom, since the aliens were sisters, they realised that to say they were siblings was going to look strange as they looked so different in human form, but needs must. They had been sent to heal Pandora from whatever had struck it and they were going to do their best.
Their alien names were Raven and Dove, they looked at the end of the bed to find the names of the women they had taken over, and from now on, they would be referred to those names. They also were sent with the English language and could speak it and understand it fluently. Now that they were in some form of dress that they both liked, they smiled and nodded and began to make their way to the cafe where a few of the only beings unaffected by the curse were sitting having a coffee.
They both walked into the cafe and all five of them turned and Lucifer said, “Who are you?” The girls smiled, and the older one spoke, “I'm Raven and this is my sister Dove, you may call us Felicity Ortecho and Karolina Bloom and we have been sent to help you.”
