Rori was walking home from a shift at the magic shop on a Saturday evening when she could swear she felt footsteps behind her. However, each time she turned, there was nobody there. She hated that feeling. Even before she moved to Pandora that sort of thing used to spook her out, it did even more so now that she lived here. Maybe it shouldn't, what with being a witch and part fae and having all these powers, and yet, it was still an eerie feeling. Who wanted to have the feeling that someone was following only to turn round and see nobody? The worst of it was, were they just skipping into side streets or in the shadows so they couldn't be seen? Or were they some sort of creature that just managed to disappear? I mean, she was living in a town where nothing could be classed as impossible, so what if they had the power of invisibility? What if they were actually right behind her each time she turned and she just couldn't see them?
Now she was scaring herself to death. Why did she have to think like that when she was already freaking out anyway? She began to quicken her pace and the footsteps came back, walking it would seem, as quickly as she was. This time, she turned, using the training that Ryan had given her, had her hand outstretched, ready to send a ball of energy if necessary, “Who is there? Who is following me?” She yelled, her heart hammering in her chest a mile a minute. Well, thought the person who had been stealthily following her, that was fun while it lasted. He walked out from the shadows, smirking, “Well, hello there my old friend. Was hoping to have spooked you the whole way home. You would have to spoil my fun.” Rori didn't change her stance, but inside she wanted to curl up and die. She had hoped never to have to see him again. He had almost killed her once before. “What, what, what are you doing here?” She stumbled over her words, the ball of light already forming at her fingertips.
Adam laughed. “For you of course. You didn't really think that I was going to give you up? You and I have unfinished business.” Of course he had promised Cami that he wouldn't kill Aurora, as she wanted her in her coven, but it was so tempting, to just drain her. Her blood and essence was so very intoxicating to him. What he wouldn't give to just sink his fangs into her. However, that's not what he was here for this time, no, he wasn't even here for Cami, he was here for someone else completely. Somebody here, wanted to hurt Lucifer, and apparently one of the ways he could do that, was to get to the witch that he had created a new alliance with, and that was Aurora Hanaway. This time he was here doing the bidding of someone that he would never want to mess with, he trusted this person even less than he trusted Cami Wells. “There are many people in Pandora who are very protective of me, not least Lucifer, if anything was to happen to me, I hate to think of the repercussions for you.” She said, the ball of light growing bigger and bigger in the palm of her hand. “Don't make me use this on you.” But Rori had forgotten how quick he could be what with him being a vampire and before she knew what was happening, he was behind her, sunk his fangs into her and she collapsed into his arms.
Adam hadn't drunk much, just enough to weaken her and he lifted her up and carried her off. Using his vampire speed, they ended up in the dark edges of Pandora, deep into the woods. He would have taken her much farther away, but he couldn't leave Pandora, could he. So the dark edge of the woods was as far away from the residential area that he could take her. It was also where the person he was working for had asked him to bring her. He placed her down into the wooden chest, closing it and wrapping the chain around and padlocking it closed. There were breathing holes, but if Rori breathed too quickly when she woke up, she would run out of oxygen.
From the darkness, out came the person he had done this for, she was blonde, and tall, she applauded him. “Very well done. I am indebted to you. What do you wish, name it and it shall be yours.” Adam thought about that, well, the one thing he really wanted, was to drain that essence from the girl in the wooden chest, but he knew that this wouldn't sit well with the game that the blonde wanted to play. “How about, you pay me in kind?” He said, teasing with her a little, she cocked her head to the side and looked Adam up and down, well, he was handsome enough and it had been quite some time since she had had some action like that. “Hmm, okay, I can deal with that.” She moved forward, wrapping him into her arms, she began to kiss him and Adam opened himself up to him, eventually, he had pushed her up against a tree and in a flash, they were having rough sex with one another. Going from one tree to another as they continued to thrust, both of them going at it until they were on the verge of exhaustion. When she had had enough, she pushed him from her, “That's enough. Your debt has been paid. Thank you again, you may go.” Adam just stood there with a raised eyebrow, well, that was quite something, but that was it? He brought her the girl, she thanked him in kind and now it was goodbye? “You don't need me for anything else?” He asked, hoping, but she shook her head. “Nope, you did good, now why don't you be a good boy and do whatever it is that Camilla Wells requires you for.”
Damn, she even knew that he worked for her. “How did you..” He trailed off, he had no idea who she was, but she seemed to know a lot about him. “Who are you?” He eventually asked, something he probably should have found out before now. The blonde smiled slowly at him, “I can't believe you don't know. I'm Lilith you stupid boy and now, off you go, before I have to no longer pay you with kindness, but send a rather nasty message to Camilla.” Adam, scrambled away from her, not believing that he had just had rough sex with the mother of demons, and backed away, not turning to look back once.
Lilith stood down at the chest, hands on her hips, “Now, I wonder how long it will take before Lucifer comes running to save you my pretty. I know that he will be one of the many who will do anything to make sure that your pretty head is kept safe. Oh and don't worry, he will know who has taken you, and he will know here to find me, I left breadcrumbs earlier.” She sat down on the grass next to the box, and began to laugh. Inside, Rori was slowly coming around and when she opened her eyes, began to panic that it was dark. Why was it so dark. Moving wasn't easy either, and then she realised she was in some sort of wooden box. She began to panic, and was batting at the lid of the chest. “Let me out, let me out.” She screamed, Lilith just laughed all the more, “Oh, I'd not do that if I were you. You best reserve some of that energy, or you will die.” Rori was so scared and wanted to yell at the person so much, but she knew that she was right. She had seen movies like this and the more you panicked, and shouted the less oxygen you had to survive. So in order to stay alive as long as possible, she had to say quiet.
Instead, she decided to quietly think of spells that might work to get her out of this thing. Who had done this to her? Well, she knew that Adam had done something to her, but that was a female voice and it didn't sound like Camilla. Had she heard it before though? She couldn't be sure, but whoever it was, what did they want with her? All she knew was that she was in some sort of danger and she just wanted to be back home with her father, brother Ryder, Ryan and most importantly, Jake. Hadn't Ryan said that he would always have some sort of connection to her because of their fae side? He did, didn't he? Jake should also have some sort of idea that she was in trouble also because of the imprinting thing.
For Ryan, she decided to try and reach out to him telepathically. (Ryan, can you hear me? I'm in trouble, I don't know where I am, but I'm in some sort of wooden chest thing. I hear a female voice talking to me, don't know who she is, but Adam brought me to her. Please help me, I, I, I don't know how to get out of this thing, and I'm scared.) She began to cry softly then, but soon his voice broke into her thoughts, and she felt a sigh of relief. (Rori, I heard you. I'll get Jake and we'll find you as quickly as we can. I'll get Lucifer too. We'll soon get to you I promise. Stay strong, and reserve your energy, don't try to do spells, it will use to much energy up.) So, all she could do was to just lie where she was, scared and alone, until the calvary came.

After her telepathic conversation with Ryan, things were eerily quiet. In one way she was happy about it, because she was being left alone and not using her energy to try and find out who this person was. However, in another way, the silence was overly deafening and worrying. She wanted to scream and yell, so that if Ryan and Jake were on their way or near, then they would be able to find where she was easier. Ryan however had told her to reserve her energy, and she knew that he was talking sense. She just had to hope that they would find her and help her before it was too late. She was so scared though and couldn't stop herself from constantly crying silently, knowing that even doing that would be using up oxygen, but it was too frightening not to cry.
Meanwhile, Ryan went straight to Jake and alerted him to the danger that Rori was in. “I knew something wasn't right man, I could feel it, but couldn't put my finger on it. Do you know where she is, could she tell you?” Ryan shook his head, “No, she had no idea. But it's not good, she says she's in a wooden chest, so she will be running out of oxygen soon. That bastard Adam grabbed her and took her to some woman, she can't tell who she is.” The more Ryan told him, the more angry Jake got. Ever since he had imprinted on Rori, his emotions were far more heightened. Ryan added, “But you having imprinted on her, you should be able to sense her or her scent surely?” Jake closed his eyes and took in some slow deep breaths, as usually that's all it would take, but scarily, he wasn't picking up anything, at all. His eyes snapped open and he shook his head, “No, nothing. Maybe the woman hexed her with something to make her untraceable.” Ryan hadn't thought of that. He punched his thigh with his fist, “Fuck it. Don't suppose you have any idea who the woman is that would have taken her?” Again Jake felt like he was a bit of a lost cause, as he shook his head, “No. Well, only this Camilla woman, could it be her?” He asked, but this time it was Ryan shaking his head. “She said it didn't sound like Camilla.” Then it hit him, like a lightbulb moment above his head as he pointed out, “Could be Lilith? She's been a bit too quiet for my liking now that she has been uncovered. We should get Lucifer involved in this.” Ryan was going to get no argument from Jake as he nodded, “Yes, yes, let's get him involved. He will be pissed. He's as protective over Aurora as we are.” Jake wasn't exaggerating about that either. Ever since Rori created the new alliance with Lucifer, he had promised to keep her as safe as if she were his own child.
So they headed towards Lucifer's house and after a very brief explanation, Lucifer shot out of the house with no hesitation. “I swear to hell, if Lilith has taken her and harmed a hair on her head I will make sure she is taken out for good.” He was not amused. He had already threatened to kill Lilith once before, this time he meant it, nobody hurt Aurora Hanaway, nobody, not even the mother of demons, Lilith. “Do you have any idea where she is?” He asked having a feeling that they probably didn't and he was right. “Locator spell is required then. Ryan you can do that, can you not?” He asked, as far as he was aware Ryan was like Rori, part fae and part witch. Ryan nodded, “I can as it happens, but I need something of Rori's to carry it out.” Jake fumbled with a chain around his neck and handed it to Ryan, “We swapped chains a while back, this is hers and she wears what was once mine.” Ryan took it into his curled up hand, “This should work yeah.” He closed his eyes and silently spoke the locator incantation that he knew off by heart and soon his eyes snapped open. “Deep in the Pandora Woods, the farthest outer edges from what I can tell. We will have to hurry, not sure how much oxygen she will have if she's trapped in a box for much longer.” Lucifer's eyes flickered red, “I will never forgive Lilith for this. If she kills Rori...” He trailed off for the look on Jake's face told him not to continue with what he was going to say, instead adding, “But we will get her, of course we will.” Jake looked up at Lucifer, a little pained, “We better.” He had worried about the alliance, that it could cause this sort of trouble for Rori, but at least Lucifer was doing what he had said he would, be there for her and make sure that she stayed safe. True, she might have been taken, but Lucifer was here with them now, doing what he could to get her back and that was all that mattered.
It took them about half an hour to get to where Ryan seemed to think that Rori would be close by. They had already made a pact to break up as they got closer. So that they could try and close in on whoever it was that had taken Rori. The guess was that it had been Lilith indeed, so Ryan was taking the left, Jake the right and Lucifer was going head on. So she would be surrounded if she were to try and run.
Lilith had been lurking, close to where she had Rori in the chest, and sensed them approaching, all of them, though Lucifer was the one she sensed the most, probably because of what he was, or who he was. Staying in the shadows, she said, “If you were planning on trying to surround me, I kind of already have that figured. You might as well not bother wasting your time.” She laughed a little and then she stepped out, right in front of Lucifer. “Well, hello again Luci. I knew that this would drag you out. However, I've not heard a peep out of her for over an hour, I fear that you might be too late. Oh the shock.” She put her hands up over her mouth and then laughed.
Lucifer was livid, his eyes went scarlet in colour, “I swear Lilith, if you have done anything to hurt that girl. She is just a pawn in your game, I know that, but she is also just a young girl and didn't need to be a part of this. Your issue was with me, not Aurora.” Lilith just kept laughing and shaking her head. “But don't you see, that getting to her gets to you, next it will be your son. How do you get to the devil? You get to those he loves the most. So naturally Nick is next, in fact, how do you know that I don't already have someone out there after him? Killing him as you stand here in front of me for her, choosing her over your own flesh and blood. How very noble of you, or should that be stupid.” Now he really was angry. However, he was ninety percent certain that Nick was fine and he could more than take care of himself. Still so could Rori, but she did better with the Trinity than she did alone, just the same as Nick was better with Ryder and Rori than alone. “Lilith, don't make me choose between my niece and my son, you won't like me if you do. You had better be lying about having someone go after my son. I swear, I will end you for this, don't think that I won't.” As he continued to talk, his normal flesh colour beginning to come through, the glorious red, his eyes ablaze and the little horns were also starting to protrude, as his evil side began to shine through, even if it was for the better good as far as he was concerned. The soon as he got this angry, his true form always showed through.
Jake having heard everything, had already shifted into his wolf form and he had been circling slowly and stealthily and then in a flash he lunged for her, right at her neck and knocked her down on the ground, shaking her around like he would a rag-doll. There was no way Lucifer wanted Jake to take this kill though and he yelled, “No, if anybody is going to do this, it will be me. Back down Jake, now.” Jake looked up slowly into Lucifer's eyes and seen the anger there and knew that he meant it, when he told him to back off, and he also believed that he would kill Lilith, so he whimpered and backed away slowly, letting Lilith go. She was on her feet in seconds, almost as though what he had done was nothing.
In a second she had Jake in a choke hold by telekinesis and he was struggling to breathe and also back in his human form in all his glory as he had abandoned his clothes behind a tree. Lilith began to laugh at the pathetic human, “You dare to try and take me on child? Who do you think you are, pathetic human.” Her eyes were black pools and Lucifer roared, “Leave him be now.” It was his turn to have Lilith in a choke hold using telekinesis. Sometimes the demonic powers came in quite handy, even if he liked to think of himself as predominantly angel. With the grip on her from Lucifer, she dropped Jake like a hot potato. Ryan was just coming in from the other side and grabbed Jake back to where he had discarded his clothes. “You alright bro?” He asked, meaning bro in the general sense of being a friend than an actual brother. “Yeah, I'm good, just a bit, well naked.” Ryan looked and then laughed, “Yeah, you are. Go get the clothes on bud.” Jake scrambled into his clothes and was soon back beside Ryan. “So, do you think we just lie here and let Lucifer and Lilith have it out?” Jake asked and Ryan nodded, “It sure looks like he wants to deal with her himself, but that doesn't mean we can't go and see to Rori while he is dealing with her.” Jake nodded, “Of course, he is keeping her too busy. Let's go.” So both Jake and Ryan began to go in search of the chest, that they knew had to be close by since Lilith was here.

Although Ryan had carried out a locator spell, it could only give an approximation of where she was, not the exactly so. So while Lucifer was dealing with Lilith, Ryan and Jake had gone to see if they could find Rori. They began to search the surrounding area and soon they came across a mound of earth. Jake pointed and said in a low voice, “Do you think this is where she is.” Ryan nodded, “I reckon so. Just wait.” He took the chain that Jake had given to him earlier and held it out, so that it was hanging down over the ground, and carried out the same incantation from earlier and the chain began to move back and forth by itself. “Yep, she's definitely here.” He handed the chain back to Jake and he put it around his neck and together, they both began to dig at the earth with their hands. Realising that this might take far too long, Jake went behind the tree, removed his clothes and shifted into wolf form once more. With his dog like paws, he had the earth scraped away in a flash.
Ryan grinned and nodded, “Good thinking Jake.” Ruffling at his ears, he then added for humour, “Such a good boy, such a good boy Jake.” Jake pulled away from his hands and bounded behind the tree, he was soon back, fully clothed and he jokingly glared at Ryan, “Don't ever do that again.” Ryan pouted, but then they both began to chuckle, it had been funny, even Jake couldn't hold it against him. By now they had both lifted the lid off the chest thing to what appeared to be a lifeless Rori, and Jake was devastated, “We're too late.” He managed to say, before his grief took over and he fell back onto his heels with tears streaming down his face.
No, no way was she dead. Ryan wasn't going to believe that. “No, I promised the Campbell Coven that I'd look out for her, I can't let this happen.” He lifted her out and cradled her in his arms, using his arm to hold her head, as he put his ear to her heart, which had a beat, very low, but it was there. “Jake, Jake, she's alive. She's just got a very low heartbeat. I reckon we just got her in time. Hold her, your connection might just be what she needs to bring her around again.” Jake scrambled to his feet and moved to where Ryan was sitting and took her from him, still silently crying. “Your heat and your connection should be enough to put some life back into her. If not, then I'm sure Lucifer will be able to help.” After all, he might be known as the devil, a fallen angel, but he was still an angel, and he should be able to heal her.
Meanwhile, Lucifer was still facing off against Lilith and angry as hell at her for what she had done to Rori. Then there was the issue of his son. Had she sent someone after him and his mum or not? “So, what you going to do Luci?” Taunted Lilith as she cocked her head to the side and smiled evilly at him. He could feel the anger beginning to boil over, “I know you wouldn't send anyone after Nick, because you know fine well that I would kill you if you did and I know you don't want that.” Lilith laughed, throwing her head back and when she snapped it back again, her eyes were black as coals. “But, what if I have had enough of this life, of the stupid people on earth? What if I actually have a death wish? You can't possibly know what is going on inside my head.” She was taunting him good and she knew that he would be questioning what to do and it would be killing him with turmoil on the inside.
Lucifer knew that she was right, he couldn't know what she was thinking. She had been around for a very long time. Usually people with immortality liked it, but you did get the odd few who hated it and after several lifetimes, just wanted to be gone for good. What if she truly had hit that time and decided to do a lot of things that would make him kill her, so that she got her wish? She would be just twisted enough to do that kind of thing. No demon could take their own life, so it wasn't as if she could just say, you know what, I want out of this, someone had to do it for her. So maybe she had sent someone after his son after all. The more he thought about this and what she had done to Rori, he got more and more enraged. “Well, if that's what you truly want, if you want to have your immortal life ended, I will grant you it. I can't begin to know if you've bloody done something to my son or not, but what you have done to Aurora is evil enough.” He went to the darkest part of his mind and, fully red, eyes glowing, horns fully out, he snapped his fingers and a silver dagger appeared in his right hand. It was the only one that could kill Lilith. He had kept it somewhere safe, so that nobody but he could do it if it ever came to it. That was the alliance that they both made, but she had broken their alliance the moment she had taken Rori. He lunged at her and drove it straight through her heart and she crumbled at his feet and then the body slowly turned to dust and evaporated. He would have liked to have spared the body that she had taken over, but since she had used it for the longest time, it wouldn't have been fair to the woman. She would have had no idea of the time she now living in.
Once he pulled the dagger out, it disappeared back to the vault that he had kept it in and his features returned to normal. He rubbed his hands together, feeling much better that he had taken care of that and then realised that the lads were nowhere to be seen. So he began to walk around in search of them. It didn't take long for him to find them. They were huddled on the ground with Aurora looking very poorly indeed. “What the bloody hell as she done to Aurora?” He yelled, which made both Ryan and Jake look up at him, “I, I, I guess she was in the box for far too long. Ryan says she had a heartbeat, it was just very weak. Thought holding her, with my heat and our connection, she might come round, but so far no.” The tears were beginning to fall again and Ryan looked ashen. If Rori died, he had failed the Campbell Coven in his duty. Carolyn would kill him if he had failed to protect her daughter like he had promised her she would.
Lucifer grunted, eyes flickering red, “Well, I took care of her for what she did. She will not cause any bother in Pandora again, I assure you. However, we cannot let Aurora die.” He leant down, “I might be seen as the devil, but I'm still an angel.” He laid his hand on her forehead, and a white glow formed between his hand and her head and he kept it there for a few seconds, until Rori's eyes began to flicker open and he stopped. “Welcome back Rori.” Lucifer said and smiled. This caused Jake to whoop her up into his arms, “I thought I had lost you.” Ryan stood up and held out his hand to Lucifer, “Thanks mate. We owe you.” Lucifer shook it, “I can't let the head witch of my new alliance die, now can I?” While Jake was continuing to hold Rori and comfort her, Ryan stood aside taking Lucifer with him.
“What do you mean that Lilith will not both Pandora again?” Luci rolled his eyes, but chuckled, “I took care of her, I killed her Ryan. She was wanting it, she was taunting me, saying that she had sent someone after Nick. She knows how much that would piss me off. She said that maybe she had done it because she was done with this life. She wanted out of it. So, she got her wish. No more trouble from Lilith.” To be fair, Ryan hadn't expected Lucifer to actually take Lilith out, but then, she was a demon and a big one at that, what with being the mother the mother of demons. “Right, but won't that just cause all the demons to run amok now that mother is dead?” Ryan genuinely wondered, but chuckled, “The demons answer to me, she just happened to create them.” He smirked and Ryan nodded his head, “Right.”
By now Rori was on her feet and being held by Jake, “I'm glad that you are much better, and I am truly sorry that Lilith did what she did to you.” Luci said and Rori smiled and touched his arm with her hand, “It's fine, I don't blame you, this isn't your fault. Thank you for saving me.” Luci pulled her into an embrace and kissed the top of her head, “You're welcome, you are my niece after all, aren't you?” Well, she was, in a way, as Nick was her cousin as his mother Lana was once married to an uncle of Rori's. As the two of them were in the embrace, both Jake and Ryan began to suddenly cough, something that they couldn't seem to control. Both of them put their hands up to their chests clutching at it, they were sort of going blue, and blood began to trickle from their ears and noses and then they both fell to the ground.
Luci gently put Rori to the side, as he stood with his eyes wide open, “Bloody hell, what's this?” He questioned to nobody in particular, why was he alright? He looked at Rori, she seemed fine too. Was this something to do with the area, a toxin maybe? He took out his phone, there was no way that he and Rori could get the two lads back into town, and called for backup. He got no response from either John or James. This was getting a little worrying. So he called Nick, but it went to voicemail. “I had hoped to get help, but nobody seems to be answering, this is worrying.” So Rori took out her phone and called Ryder, he answered. She told him that both Ryan and Jake seemed to have collapsed with something mysterious and could he make his way out to them with help, so that they could get them back. Ryder was only too happy to do so. However, when Ryder looked, he couldn't get anybody, they were all passed out with blood coming from their ears and noses, in fact the only person he could get his hands on, was Nick.
Once he explained about Rori's call, the two of them made their way out to where she had said they were. “Dad, everybody but us in Pandora seem to be the same, well, everybody that I checked in on that is. It's like some sort of virus has been unleashed that hasn't affected us.” Nick said to Luci and then it hit him, he knew exactly what had happened. “That bloody bitch.” Rori looked at him with an eyebrow risen. “Lilith, she must have had some sort of curse set off on her true death. Even dead she is causing us trouble. Right, let's get back into town, we need to figure out what it is and try to help them as quickly as possible, before they all die.” With that, Ryder and Nick grabbed Ryan between them and Luci picked up Jake easily and they all made their way back to Pandora, wondering how they were going to fix this.
