A week after the wolves had laid Jonah to rest, Lucifer figured that he had waited long enough to try and get to the bottom of this Kandy Barrett. He was pretty certain that she was Lilith, but he couldn't be one hundred percent sure until the cloak was removed from the woman. True, the way that she had ripped out Jonah's heart was a definite sign of Lilith, but to be fair, any vampire or demon and even another wolf could also have done that. It's just that was her typical calling card when she wanted to make herself known to him. It did make him wonder how long she had been around in Pandora for. Without being able to sense her, he had no clue.
Earlier he had called James to ask if he and Nick could come round to finally talk to his children about the possibility of the magical trinity. Thankfully he explained that the station, John in particular wanted to get to the bottom of this, as the wolves felt that the murder of Jonah still hadn't been given justice. So now he and Nick were in the basement of the Hanaway home, which used to belong to the old Campbell Coven, with Aurora and Ryder. “So, I'm sure that your father might have told you that we, that is myself and Nick's mother, might think that the three of you belong to some sort of power of three type magic. A trinity if you will, yes?” He asked, looking to both Ryder and Rori for some sort of confirmation on knowing about this. Both of them nodded but it was Rori that spoke, “Yes, dad did say something before, before, well...” She trailed off, still finding it hard to talk about Jonah after his demise and funeral. So Ryder continued, “Yep, dad told us before Jonah died. It might be a thing. When Rori and I hugged for the first time when I came to Pandora, we created snow between us with our magic alone. She told me that happened with her and Nick also. So that snow could be a sign or symbol of it?” Luci was impressed and he nodded and smiled, “That is quite possible. None of you have tried to create magic together, have you?” He asked, and Nick spoke this time, “No, we haven't. Rori and I have together though.” Luci looked at his son and nodded, “That's what I thought.” He then saw the grimoire sitting on the plinth and made his way towards it.
Rori noticing that he was about to touch it, shouted, “No, don't, it only seems to like being touched by a witch, Nick and I could, but Jake, it slammed itself shut on him when he tried.” However, Luci chuckled and began to leaf through the book with no issue whatsoever. Rori's mouth fell open as she scratched at the back of her neck, “Huh, well I never. Why is that?” She was genuinely interested and Luci just looked at her with one eyebrow risen, “Really? You're asking why I can touch it? For the love of hell, have you forgotten that I'm an angel? Of course I can touch it.” This confused Rori all the more, as she lifted her hand up, “But you are also the devil, so, should it not be shutting itself off to you?” She wasn't trying to be horrible, just genuinely wondering why it hadn't shut on Lucifer or sent him across the room.
It was Nick that spoke up though, “Dad might be the devil Rori, but he is also still very much an angel, a fallen one, but an angel just the same. People seem to forget that. After how you and I connected when nobody seemed to realise that I wasn't evil, I thought you'd understand that more.” This made Rori feel awful and she hung her head a little, “Sorry, didn't think about that.” Luci then laughed a little, “It's more to do with the pact that I have with the Campbell Coven, that's why I can touch it, though what Nick says is also sort of true, an angel can touch any grimoire.” So he continued to leaf through the book until he came across the page that was titled, 'The Power of Three'. Underneath was a spell, a simple incantation.
De potentia trium, accipio te. [*]
He turned to the three of them, “Alright, it's this simple, or it should be, the three of you hold hands with one another standing in a circle and say the following line, 'de potentia trium, accipio te'. If you have the power of three within you, saying those words should make something happen.” He really hoped that it would. They could do with another trinity of witches. It had been a long time since they had one. Not even in the original Campbell Coven was there a trinity of witches. When he had found out that he had a Campbell witch back in the town he had been elated, and then to find out there was a second, but if they had a trinity, that could spell a lot of new things for Pandora.
He watched as all three of them stood in a circle like he had told them to do and Rori said the line first, followed by Ryder and finally by Nick. Nothing seemed to happen though, Luci didn't know if anything would, but he had expected some sort of light or something. “Say it again each of but this time, start with Nick, then Ryder and finally you Rori, reverse the order you said it.” So they nodded and did as they were told and when Rori said the line last, this time there was a rumbling heard around the basement, and things began to shake a little and then the book began to glow and it circled around the book and then floated upwards and across, to the three of them and rested above them before it split into three and each one zoomed into each of the kids, which made them separate from the circle and land on their backsides with a bit of a thud and then everything calmed down.
Lucifer feeling satisfied that it had now worked, stood and applauded, “Yes, yes, yes. Lana and I were right, you did indeed have the power to accept a trinity. My children, welcome to your new power of three trinity, my Celestial Trinity. Bloody hell, it actually worked, it really actually worked. This is amazing, this is so exciting, wait until I tell your mother, she is going to be so happy about this.” Luci said all full of excitement about this new venture for Pandora. The things that they will be able to do together, they would be an unstoppable force. By this time all three of them were back up on their feet. “So, what does that mean for us going forward exactly?” Rori asked, and Ryder and Nick nodded, “That would be good to know dad.” Nick added. Luci did wonder if he should call on Lana to explain it, but it wasn't as if he couldn't tell them about it himself. So, he decided to just go ahead and do that.
Pointing to the sofa in the room, they all sat down, with Luci sitting across from them on an armchair and he began. “Your magic alone was already fairly strong from what I have seen, but when all three of you are together, your magic will be like no other. Nobody else can top it. The power of three is a very strong force of magic indeed. Together you will be able to perform the strongest of magic. You will be able to do magic that only dark arts witches can carry out without becoming dark, without staying dark. As an example, the cloak that is on Kandy Barrett, the woman that we think, that I think is actually Lilith, it was carried out by a dark witch. Lana couldn't break it, Rori, you alone wouldn't, any of you alone wouldn't, but together, all three of you, you should be able to break the cloak from Kandy and we can finally discover who she really is. So, my question to you now is this, do you want to try and see if you can break the cloak that is on Kandy? I still have the strand of hair that Lana used to find out she did indeed have the cloak, but she couldn't break it.”
Well, thought Rori, if they had this new found strong trinity magic thing, then the only way to find out if it worked was to put it to use. She looked from Ryder to Nick, “Might as well see what we can do, right?” Nick nodded, “I'm in.” Followed by Ryder, “Me too. Let's see what we can actually do.” Rori put her hand out in front of her, and Ryder put his on top of hers, followed by Nick's on top of Ryder's, and both boys said, “Let's do it.”

Luci gave the strand of hair to Rori, “Okay kids, do your work. I am sure there is an uncloaking spell in that book.” Which would normally work on a normal spell for a cloak, but since this one had been carried out by a dark witch, likely that Camilla Wells, then it needed strong magic to break it and with the trinity, then the normal spell should work. Rori stood in front of the book and simply said, “Uncloaking spell.” The book flew open at the right page. She nodded, “I like this stronger magic.” She laughed a little. Turning to Lucifer for clarification, “Will we always have to be holding hands for a trinity spell to work?” Luci rubbed at the back of his head, because he wasn't one hundred percent sure of that. “I'm not sure, I don't think so, I think you just have to be together, like you are just now.” She nodded and smiled a little. “Well, we can only try and see what happens.” So with the strand of hair in her hand, she looked at both Ryder and Nick, “I think we all have to say the incantation together.” If they didn't actually have to be holding hands, then maybe they all had to say the words.
The spell was written as follows:-
The power of three compels to break this cloaking spell.
So the three of them said the words at the same time and the strand of hair began to float from Rori's hand into the air and swirled around a few times, it was still in a little bag, so the hair itself was not moving but the bag which held it. Then after a few seconds it floated back down onto her hand and burned out, all she was left with was ashes. She looked at Luci, “Does that mean it worked? I've never seen something burn out like that before.” Lucifer really wished he understood magic more, but the truth was, he was the devil, a fallen angel, he was celestial, not magical, not really. “I don't have a bloody clue to be fair. I'd like to think that it's worked, but I don't know. Actually, I should know, as I should be able to sense Lilith if it worked, or if she was Lilith, more to the point.” But as he wasn't sensing her, he had to assume that it hadn't worked or Kandy wasn't Lilith after all, which was just bloody great.
He began to stomp about, anger taking hold of him, “It's not bloody her, I still can't sense her. I could have sworn that it was her, especially after Vince told me what he had seen.” His eyes flickering red as his devil side began to surface. Nick put his hand on his father's arm, “Calm down dad, you don't want Ryder and Rori seeing how you get when you're very angry, do you?” He wasn't full on ugly in his devil mode, but his skin turned red, as did his eyes, and, yes, he had little horns that protruded from his head. He took in a few slow deep breaths, “You're right son, sorry. I'm fine. Actually, you know, I think it might have worked. Why it didn't straight away I don't know, but I smell a little Lilith now, I can smell and sense her. Yes, bloody hell it worked. You did it my little trinity heroes. You did it.” He was so happy, now that he could sense Lilith, he would be able to get to her and give her a piece of his mind and if need be, put her down for good. Not that he ever wanted to do that. He and Lilith had a history, it's how he got his special ring, but he had a good rapport with the residents of Pandora and he didn't want that to change. So if Lilith refused to behave then he would have no option but to send her to hell permanently.
Rori smiled, “So it worked, we broke the cloak on Kandy then? She is this Lilith?” Luci nodded, “It would seem so, I couldn't sense her at the start, but I can now, and it's getting stronger and stronger. Like I said, you guys together, are going to be a force to be reckoned with. Now, why don't you continue to practice your power of three magic with spells from the book, careful not to use anything too dangerous, while I go and talk to the wonderfully evil Lilith.” He made his way out of the basement leaving the three of them alone.
Ryder was first to talk, “So, we're like this new powerful trio of witches is that it? But we have to be together for the strongest magic to work?” Nick nodded, “That's about the size of it yeah. I mean we can still do our own solo magic, we just aren't as strong as we are when we're all together.” Rori was completely in awe of this. After all her worries about the name of the town when they were travelling, she was loving life here now. “So, is this because we're like related? Does a trinity only happen among family members or something?” Rori asked Nick, as it would seem he was quite knowledgable on it. “As far as I know, yes, usually only happens between a set of siblings though. Not siblings and a cousin, but it might be the whole celestial thing that is making the difference.” He honestly wasn't one hundred percent sure on that, but at the same time, it was the only thing that made sense to him. “Well, I like it, makes us unique.” Ryder said laughing, he too was enjoying the new aspect to his life and terrible as though it might seem, he had almost forgotten about Tabby, the sister that he had grown up with.
**** Elsewhere ****
So, a Celestial Trinity had been born, but while they were all excited about it, and Lucifer was glad that he could finally find Lilith, elsewhere, someone had been awoken to the new trinity and they weren't happy about it at all. Another Campbell witch who was based in Luna Cove, felt the trinity being born, and she knew where it had happened and she knew who was at the helm of it, her niece Aurora. And her nephew Ryder. The third she wasn't sure of, but it could quite possibly be their cousin, Lucifer's son Nick. How dare they create a trinity without her permission. She was going to do something about this. The trinity would not be allowed to remain, not if she had anything to do with it. [this part will be continued at a later point in a new arc/chapter]
